Papa Arkhurst Heads up the communications team at EBII Group, He is an e-government expert and an accomplished key communicator who has earned the highest coveted award of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM – the first individual to have achieved this in Ghana) with the Toastmasters International Organization. He uses the experience from these two areas to help organizations optimize their brand and improve their efficiency, through training and consultancy services. He has had 12 years of experience in the public service (working with institutions like the Controller and Accountant General’s Department, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, among others and on multiple National Biometric Projects) and has consulted for a number of NGOs and companies in the private sector. Through regular coaching sessions, he mentors passionate individuals, spanning rising leaders to the C-suite level and helps them improve their communication and leadership skills, whilst exposing them to his varied network. Papa has a passion for citizen advocacy and business innovation for social good. He is also deeply passionate about using business, information, communication and technology as tools for implementing sustainable growth and development. He has a rich experience from his studies and work that span his network in Africa, the Americas and Asia and has through it learnt to look at things from a global perspective. This rich background has garnered him interview invitations from multiple TV, Radio and Newspapers, where he contributes to various issues. He was also a Ted-X Speaker, sharing his passion for functional citizen advocacy. He has lectured in institutions like the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, Regent University and the University of Professional Studies, and has done training and consulting, for banks like Standard Chartered, Omni Bank, the former UT Group, Stanbic Bank, The La Community Bank, as well as other key corporate organizations.
