Biography

With over 20 years of experience in the Banking Industry, Mizinga Melu is an industry expert who has been at the helm of top banking organisations, having worked in six (6) African countries. She is also an award-winning published author.

She is currently the Managing Director for Absa Bank Zambia PLC. She had previously held the same substantive role in Standard Chartered Bank.

She is currently serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Museum forUnitedNations -UN Live Board, Zambia National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) and the current Bankers Association of Zambia (BAZ) Chairperson.  

Mizinga is a multi-award-winningbusiness leader and is a recipient of the following business awards:

Mizinga holds a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Henley Management College in the UK, An Associateship of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (A.C.I.B) in the UK and she is a fellow of the Zambian Institute of Bankers.
