BIOGRAPHY

Adjoa Adjei-Twum has over 17 years of experience and is a thought leader renowned for her insights into critical matters concerning climate resilience, Anti-Money Laundering, business practices, and investment compliance across emerging markets. A graduate of the University of Oxford Said Business School, Adjoa held various leadership positions during her successful banking career, including Global Head of Training and Communications for the Chief Controls Office at Barclays Bank and Vice President at HSBC Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions Assurance. In 2018, Adjoa pursued postgraduate education at the University of Oxford, where she was elected class representative and founded the EBII Group. Under her guidance, the EBII Group launched its flagship event, the Africa Investment Risk and Compliance Summit (AIRCS), held in the UK, which has attracted influential decision-makers, including Presidents of Ghana and Sierra Leone, the African Continental Free Trade Secretary-General, a US Congresswoman, and the Vice Chancellor of the University of Oxford. Adjoa’s expertise has garnered international recognition, leading to appearances on prominent global media platforms such as CNN, BBC’s World Newsday, BBC Africa News, and CNBC Asia.
