Asie Arkhurst

Asie Arkhurst started her career over a decade ago in financial services with a start-up trade mediation and payment services company, where she worked in corporate development and project managed investor due diligence processes among other activities. She currently works in finance for the most geographically diverse banking group in Sub-Saharan Africa, Ecobank; where she manages the capital portfolio of the bank and its affiliates and is involved in its capital raising efforts and activities. Asie was most recently instrumental in the launch of the company’s first ever Eurobond which successfully raised half a billion dollars. Prior to her current role, she worked in Group strategy, assisting the C-suite and board of Ecobank with the formulation and implementation of the Bank’s strategy across its 36+ banking affiliates and offices. She co-founded the company’s first lean in circle in Lomé.

She has an advanced degree from Said Business School (Oxford), an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Science degree in Banking and Finance, first-class honors from the University of Ghana
